Coronavirus Childcare Assistance Scheme (C-CAS)
Childcare funding is available for key essential workers during the Coronavirus pandemic for children aged 0 – 4 years, and vulnerable children.
Parents who are key workers can make an online application to claim funding for their childcare requirements here bit.ly/CoronavirusChildcareAssistanceScheme
Eligibility for Coronavirus Childcare Assistance Scheme:
• Parents who are employed as specific key workers
• Where one parent is a key worker but the other parent is not then the other parent should provide safe alternative arrangements at home where possible.
• There are no upper, or lower, earnings thresholds for pre-school childcare assistance for critical workers. The only criteria is that they can prove that they are currently employed in an area that has been deemed to be critical to the response to COVID-19 by the local authority where they reside. Consequently funding is available to full-time and part-time employees and those on ‘zero hour’ contracts.
If you have any queries please email the Family Information Service firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cynllun Cymorth Gofal Plant Coronafeirws (C-CAS)
Mae cyllid gofal plant ar gael i weithwyr hanfodol allweddol yn ystod y pandemig Coronafeirws ar gyfer plant 0 – 4 oed a phlant sy’n agored i niwed.
Gall rhieni sy’n weithwyr allweddol wneud cais arlein i hawlio cyllid ar gyfer eu gofynion gofal plant yma bit.ly/CoronavirusChildcareAssistanceScheme
Cymhwystra ar gyfer Cynllun Cymorth Coronafeirws:
o Rhieni sydd wedi eu cyflogi fel gweithwyr allweddol penodol.
o Pan fo dim ond un rhiant yn weithiwr allweddol ond ddim y rhiant arall, yna dylai’r rhiant arall ddarparu gofal diogel gartref ble mae’n bosibl.
o Nid oes trothwy uchaf nac isaf o ran enillion ar gyfer cymorth gofal plant cyn-ysgol ar gyfer gweithwyr hanfodol. Yr unig feini prawf yw y gallent brofi eu bod ar hyn o bryd wedi eu cyflogi mewn maes sydd wedi ei bennu yn un critigol i’r ymateb i COVID-19 gan yr awdurdod lleol lle maent yn byw. O ganlyniad, mae cyllid ar gael i weithwyr llawn-amser a rhan-amser a’r sawl sydd ar gontract ‘dim oriau’.
