Extraordinary Egypt Workshops 25th – 28th July

Become a famous archaeologist and explore extraordinary Egypt. The gods will come to life as we journey deep into the ancient Egyptian afterlife through recreating the tomb and objects of the Pharaoh – Tutankhamun.

Learn the story of Isis and Osiris, make papyrus an your own book of the dead and scales of justice

  • Tuesday 26th July: The Pyramids and mummification 

Learn how to mummify the dead, create your own sarcophagus and canopic jars.

  • Wednesday 27th July: Welsh Wednesdays  – Blaenavon

Explore what it was like to be a child miner in the Victorian times, and make your own tram.

Make your Egyptian tomb, complete with jewellery, toys and a Tutankhamun mask
