Everyone needs a bit of extra support from time to time. Having a
Team Around your Family will help to bring people together who
can help you and your family, to work with you to find solutions and bring about change. This is called the Torfaen Family Support programme and it works together with children, young people and their families.
Families First is a Torfaen wide project and works across 5 main strands, these include;

Disabilities
Youth Support
Family Achievement Programme (FAP)
Bron Afon Aspire Home Family Links
Families First is referral only (either by self referral or by professional) and upon receipt a family support assessment is undertaken which is based on families strengths and needs. This assessment will help to identify and understand any support required.
