Participation Hub Open
The Welsh Government launched its Participation Hub, a portal for children and young people to seek support and have their say in decisions that affect them. The online hub can be found at and, although aimed at children and young people, it can be used by professionals and practitioners.

The Welsh Assembly Government is running a public health education campaign in conjunction with the NHS that is designed to inform the public's decision making, and help them choose the most appropriate health service to meet their needs - instead of defaulting to the 999 Emergency Service and A&E. We provide support, mentoring and for young people from BME and EEM backgrounds in Rhondda Cynon Taff, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Blaenau Gwent and Torfaen.

The overall aim of the project is to raise the skills and aspirations of young people (14-19) from BME and EEM family backgrounds throughout their progression to further education and employment. We will provide support on a one-to-one basis and also within a youth group setting, creating access to innovative activities to increase confidence and opportunity to meet other young people. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in voluntary work and/or work placements, and access information about further education and employment.
